History of Cannabis

Cannabis has a long history of use dating back thousands of years. It is native to central and south Asia, and it is believed to have been used for a variety of purposes, including as a source of food, fiber, and medicine. In the 20th century, cannabis became increasingly popular as a recreational drug, and it was eventually banned in many countries due to concerns about its potential negative effects. In recent years, however, there has been a growing movement to legalize cannabis for medical and recreational use, and many countries and states have legalized or decriminalized its use.
